Inspiration looks like a fascinating program just for the simple fact that there is just so much you can do with it. This allows you to map out how a paper is going, before you actually write it. I find that it can really help improve students papers. Allowing them to visulize what they are trying to say and direct them in a more professional manner. With a program like this though you would not be able to pick it up and use it right away. It looks like you would need atleast a couple of months to teach students all that there is to offer. In the video it also states that teachers can give them basic understanding but they also need to learn from each other in group settings, so you would need to come up with group projects for them to do. Overall it looks like a really neat program and I would definately say its something worth trying.
Role playing exercises I think would enable students to benefit will from the technology and enable them to get peer feedback as well. Have groups of like 3 or 4 students visit a certain place and tell about the culture, specific monuments, religion, among other things. Well using blog spot would be beneficial. because students would be able to keep in contact with each other. Teachers would be able to make sure groups are staying on topic and add suggestions to the projects. As well as adding bonus points for other groups to help with ideas and comment on a certain groups work. I was in my freshman algebra class, and some of the students in my class were just not understanding the material that the teacher was giving them. So after class we went to a study hall and there I proceeded to help them by showing them how he was getting from point A to point B. I felt that i knew the material very well, because i had already learned it at my previous school. After i had helped them with the work i felt more confident about what i had taught them and felt that it was easier to do my own work after that.

The program would originally be hard to handle, I thought the same thing when watching the video. A professional using the program can make a complex program seem easy, but I also agree it would be worth a try. We are constantly searching for new ways to teach children in a way that engages them whether it be working in groups or using an innovative new program. Knowing what you're teaching before hand definitely is a must, keep up the good work.
